The BBC reporter asks relevant questions from Karroubi’s son and he gives weak and evasive answers. Unfortunately, it is in Persian with no English subtitles. Questions: Khamenei signed the decree recognizing Ahmadinejad as the legitimate president months ago, why accept it now? In light of the fact that the regime didn’t compromise, couldn’t this be viewed as a retreat by the reformists? If Karroubi is accepting Ahmadinejad as president because of Khamenei’s decree, then what about the people’s votes? His answer to all these questions: hopefully, maybe, possibly, etc. that somehow the authorities would resolve the issues. Mr. Karroubi’s son was better off not giving this interview.
