IND:  Some U.S. analysts and, unfortunately, some in the Obama administration believe that the opposition primarily consists of the northern Tehran elite.  Do the families in the pictures below waiting outside of Tehran’s notorious Evin prison look like Westernized northern Tehran elite to you?

Or how about these brave women?  Are they  “the elite”?  They are the Iranian people.  Look at the two women on the right.  Their attire is not the typical attire of the northern Tehran elite.  They are wearing a chador and don’t even have your typical scarf like the woman on the left.

Are these people all the northern Tehran elite?

Northern Tehran elite?  Hell No! I hope the Obama administration stops listening to a bunch of self-serving so-called Iran analysts who have ulterior motives.  Iran is not Iraq.  There is no Chalabi.  The left in America needs to be careful so we don’t go from the sin of  commission of the neocons in Iraq to the sin of omission of the left in Iran.  Just look at the pictures.
